"I KNOW THAT I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING" (Socrates)
It is one of the most famous theses in the history of philosophy, which is the "docta ignorantia" (learned ignorance), that Socrates mentions in a dramatic moment of his life, during the trial that was going to end with his death sentence.
The balance between the great trust in reason and the deep consciousness of his ignorance is one of the most precious gifts that the great philosopher left to posterity.
This is the philosophy on which Tesi Ubaldo based the company that we all know today.
He did not know much about the external ornamental plants, he was not familiar with this great gift of nature, the plants, and therefore,
he decided to learn. Thanks to his tenacity in learning, he was able to develop the experience that was handed down from generation to generation.
Without giving up, he experimented, grafted, and cultivated starting from the fruit trees and ending with the ornamental plants.
More than 80 years have passed since the "Tesi Ubaldo & figli" company was started, and today it is renowned all over the world thanks
to its wide range of species, their shape and dimension, but above all their quality.
We wish to be able to reach our objective through our philosophy, with the hope
that the fourth generation can continue writing the history of or company, keeping into account the values of its founder.
